Absolum is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in Q3 2026, completing the rollout across PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.

Absolum has been released in waves across platforms:

- March 25, 2026 — Xbox Series X|S — $24.99
- Q3 2026 — Nintendo Switch 2 (Nintendo eShop) — physical edition available for pre-order
The Switch 2 version does not yet have a specific release date within Q3 2026.
What is Absolum?
Absolum is Dotemu's first original IP — a fantasy beat 'em up roguelite developed alongside Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, the teams behind Streets of Rage 4. The game is set in Talamh, a world shattered by a catastrophic magical event. You play as outcasts with nothing left to lose, fighting their way through a fractured realm to take down Sun King Azra.
The pedigree here matters: Dotemu and Guard Crush Games together made one of the best beat 'em ups of the last decade with Streets of Rage 4. Absolum applies that same fast, satisfying brawler combat to a roguelite loop with a high-fantasy setting.
Gameplay
Absolum features four playable characters, each with distinct fighting styles and specializations. The roguelite structure means each run plays out differently — you're not just replaying the same path. The beat 'em up combat is fast-paced and built for both solo play and co-op.

$24.99 across all platforms. Physical editions are available for the Nintendo Switch 2 version via pre-order.
Is Absolum on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes — Absolum is available on Xbox Game Pass. PS Plus availability has not been announced. Nintendo Switch Online does not include the game.
