What is Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game?
Gameplay Group International — developer and publisher — holds an official license from Nickelodeon. The game is built specifically as a competitive fighter, not an arena brawler or party game. The roster pulls characters from both Avatar series: Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, and Toph Beifong are all confirmed playable.
The engine uses proprietary rollback netcode, which is the industry-standard approach for keeping online matches feeling responsive. Crossplay is supported across all platforms.
Gameplay
This is a head-to-head competitive fighter. Each character's kit naturally reflects their bending discipline — Aang's airbending, Katara's waterbending, Toph's earthbending, Zuko's firebending, and Korra's versatile Avatar skillset all translate into distinct playstyles. The developers ran multiple alpha tests over late 2025 and early 2026, giving the competitive community early feedback opportunities before launch.
Pre-order buyers across PS5, Xbox, or Steam got access to a crossplay-supported beta from July 2–5, 2026 — a de facto live stress test of the netcode and balance ahead of the full release.
Is Avatar Legends on Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus?
Neither Game Pass nor PS Plus availability has been announced.
