What is Made in Abyss: An Irredeemable Journey of Mysteries?
Developed and published by Avex Pictures, this is a mobile RPG set in the world of the Made in Abyss anime and manga. The property follows Cave Raiders — explorers who descend into a massive, mysterious chasm called the Abyss — and the game leans directly into that premise.
The genre is deck-building roguelike: you build a hand of cards representing abilities and attacks, collect relics that modify your run, and push as deep into the Abyss as you can before dying or running out of resources.
Gameplay
Each run into the Abyss plays out differently. You pick branching routes that offer different rewards and risks, upgrade your character cards to strengthen your build, and collect relics that stack passive effects. The further down you go, the harder the boss encounters get — and supplies are limited, so every resource decision matters.
The structure fits Made in Abyss well. The source material is about the cost of descending deeper and the things you lose along the way. A roguelike where each run is a new attempt to push further before the Abyss claims you captures that loop better than a linear RPG would.
Is Made in Abyss: An Irredeemable Journey of Mysteries on Game Pass or PS Plus?
No. This is a mobile-only free-to-play title. Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus, and Nintendo Switch Online are not applicable.
