Pragmata Gives Away Free Scribble Suit on Father's Day as Sales Hit 2 Million

On June 19, Capcom dropped a free Father's Day update for Pragmata. Update 1.220 hands every player the fan-loved Scribble Suit at no cost, and it lands right as the game passes 2 million sales.

If you have never touched Pragmata, here is the pitch. It is Capcom's first brand-new IP in eight years, a sci-fi action game set on a lunar research station that rogue AI has taken over. You play Hugh, a stranded spacefarer, traveling with Diana, a young android. The two of you are trying to get home to Earth.

The hook is the combat. You shoot enemies and hack them at the same time. Hugh handles the gun. Diana handles the hacking, where you solve a quick grid puzzle to weaken or stun a target before your bullets land. It splits your brain in two: aim with one half, puzzle with the other. Reviewers keep calling it one of 2026's most original games for exactly this reason.

Players who came from Resident Evil keep making one comparison. The Hugh-and-Diana pairing feels like the Barry-and-Natalia chapters in Resident Evil Revelations 2, where one character fights and the other reveals what the fighter cannot see. The patch does more than dress up Hugh. It nerfs "Stand or Die," the brutal 30th training simulation that was blocking people from 100% completion. The stage still asks you to clear a laser puzzle under heavy enemy pressure, but the overall difficulty is down, so the run and its bonus goals are more doable now.
