Psylocke Is the High-Skill Flank Assassin Carrying Marvel Rivals Backlines

Psylocke is the assassin pick in Marvel Rivals. She dashes into the enemy backline, deletes the sniper or healer, and slips away in stealth before anyone reacts. She is not a beginner hero, but mained well, she swings games.

Wing Shurikens throws a volley that sticks to whoever you tag, then recalls and damages them again on the way back, while giving you bonus health. A clean combo is shurikens onto a target, dash past them, and let the recall finish the job while you reposition.

Psychic Stealth is your escape and your setup. You go invisible and move faster for a few seconds. Use it to slip past a choke and get behind them, or to bail when a dive goes wrong. Her ultimate is Dance of the Butterfly. She conjures a psionic katana and auto-slashes nearby enemies for heavy damage over a few seconds. Save it for a clustered team fight after the enemy has burned their cooldowns, ideally on top of a support ult like Luna Snow or Mantis so the kills stick.

She also has a team-up. With Magik on your roster, Psylocke gets Psionic Disk, which lets her rewind a few seconds back to a safer position and gain bonus health. So your comp choices feed into how survivable she is.

Is she worth maining? Yes, if you are willing to put in the reps. The community treats her as a high-skill, high-reward flanker, the kind of pick that looks unfair in good hands and useless in bad ones. Players often compare her to Genji and Sombra from Overwatch for that dive-and-vanish feel. Her big weakness is crowd control. Get slept or stunned deep in the backline and the whole enemy team turns on you. Learn the maps, memorize where the health packs are so you are not begging your healers, and only commit when you have an exit ready. Played that way, Psylocke is one of the most satisfying carries in the game.
