Titan Quest II Adds Russian and Its Biggest Update Yet, Wild Lands

On June 18, Titan Quest II got its biggest update since launch: the "Wild Lands" chapter, which adds Act 4 of the story and, crucially for Russian players, full official Russian localization.

Titan Quest II is a Diablo-style action RPG built around Greek mythology. You play a hero hunting Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, clicking through hordes of enemies, stacking loot, and mixing skill trees into your own build. It is the sequel to the 2006 cult classic Titan Quest, made by Grimlore Games and published by THQ Nordic. The game has been in Early Access on PC (Steam and Epic) since August 1, 2025, so it is still being built out chapter by chapter.

That Early Access tag matters. When it launched, the game shipped with limited languages and only the first act. Russian players had to lean on community-made fan translations to read quests and item text. That is the gap the Wild Lands update closes. Per Russian outlets covering the patch, the update ships complete Russian localization, so the menus, story, and loot descriptions are now translated out of the box. No more hunting Nexus mods to understand what your gear does.

The update is also just huge on its own. Wild Lands is described as the largest content drop since Early Access began. It adds Act 4 as a sprawling open region with new biomes, swamps, a buried city, and Centaur camps. On top of the new map you get 5 story quests, 13 world quests, 18 dungeons, and a pile of side events. There are 3 new bosses plus 10 minibosses to grind. The level cap jumps to 55, and a fifth tier of passive skills opens up, which means more room to push your build deeper.

On price: Titan Quest II is $29.99, currently running a 30% discount. That is cheaper than most full-price ARPGs, which fits its Early Access status. You are buying a game that is still growing, not a finished one. If you want every act polished and bug-free, waiting for the 1.0 launch is the safer call. If you like getting in early and watching a game build out, the price is friendly and the content is already deep.

One honest note: the reviews are not all glowing. Recent Steam reviews sit at Mixed, with a chunk of players flagging performance and balance issues. That is normal for an Early Access ARPG mid-development, but it is worth knowing before you buy. The core combat and loot loop are solid; the rough edges are in the polish.

The spike is simple: Russian players waited a long time for a real translation, and Wild Lands finally delivered it alongside the biggest content patch yet. That combo, a full new act plus your own language, is exactly the moment a lapsed player comes back.
